Three stories about what you always have to believe.

In this article, we will tell you the history of the emergence and success of three companies. You all know them, but you probably didn't know what they went through before they were successful.

1. Fed-Ex is a U.S. logistics company

Fed-Ex's logistic company history is fascinating since it learns that, despite criticism, it is not worth giving up on its dream. Moreover, it is not often the case that the co-sponsors have to make money at the start-up playing casino in Las Vegas.

In 1965, at Yale University, Fred Smith (Fred Smith) studied transport in the U.S. University. At that time, transport companies mainly carried large packages across the United States on trucks or passenger aircraft.

Smith considered that a company carrying small parcels with basic necessities with fixed-wing aircraft could be more effective than existing transport companies. Smith didn't go too far in detail how transport companies actually work.

Perhaps that's why he was successful in writing the results of his study, a weak " trail " . Smith, however, has never stopped thinking about the establishment of a system for the express delivery of small goods, which he launched in 1971.

Three years after the launch, Federal Express was on the verge of bankruptcy, largely because of the rapid rise in fuel prices, it lost more than $1 million a month.

At the bottom of the fall, the company ' s management gathered 5,000 personal assets, which was insufficient to continue its activities, because the aircraft needed fuel that could not be bought for that money. At that time, Smith applied to General Dynamics for additional funding, but refused.

After the negotiations, instead of flying home, Smith took the rest of the company's funds ($5,000) and flew to Las Vegas, where the whole weekend played them. By Monday, FedEx had $32,000, which could cover the cost of fuel for airplanes and extend the company for a few more days.

Shortly afterwards, the company was able to attract substantial funds and in 1976 it earned its first profit and, despite problems, did not look back.
